Elhardt Family Wellness does not provide emergency or crisis services.

For children, teens, and families: Contact your local Community Services Board (CSB) or local emergency crisis service for immediate assistance.

Caregiver Support Coaching: $110 per hour, available nationwide by telehealth.

Parent Coaching: $40 per 30 minutes, available nationwide by telehealth.

Coaching is not counseling. It is education, skill-building, and support for caregivers. Coaching does not include assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of any mental health condition, and it is not a substitute for therapy. Coaching is not billed to insurance and no clinical record is created.

Counseling is a clinical service and is available only to clients located in Virginia. If you are looking for therapy, start with our counseling services.

At Elhardt Family Wellness, some of our clinicians are Resident in Counseling professionals completing the supervised clinical experience required for full independent licensure. Being a resident does not mean receiving care from someone who is unprepared or working alone. Our residents are carefully selected, trained in trauma-informed and family-centered care, and receive ongoing clinical supervision from experienced, licensed professionals. Their clinical work is regularly reviewed, and they have access to consultation and support when complex situations arise. This model allows us to provide thoughtful, high-quality care while also helping develop the next generation of clinicians who are equipped to serve children, teens, and families. You will always know who is providing your care, what their credentials are, and who is supervising their clinical work.
